Our Christmas Tree
December 2, 2007 
On December 1st, my family bought the Christmas tree. It was cold. We went on a hayride. It didn’t take very long to choose the Christmas tree. We took a ride back. We had hot chocolate and cookies. After Susanna took a nap, we decorated the tree. There were lots of ornaments. Having a Christmas tree makes me feel like it is Christmas anytime.
Watching my children enjoy the wonder of the season makes it feel like Christmas again to me, too.
Maggie, You are lucky to be putting your Christmas tree up so early. As your Mommy will tell you, we never put ours up until the day before Christmas. But I will put the other decorations up next weekend and so I will get into the Christmas spirit. Grandad and I got our tree yesterday. We also went to Yeagers. It was very windy, but there was only one other person there shopping for trees. We got a good one, too. See you soon. Love, Grammie
