Lucy Moosey
This is a poem I wrote in kindergarten. It is called Lucy Moosey.
Two of my sisters whom I do love
Will fight with me and even shove.
But Lucy, the youngest one of all,
Is two months old and very small.
But when she was born, she was pretty tall
And our neighbor made her a new stuffed ball.
The ball has colors-red, pink, orange, and blue-
And there’s a pretty yellow, too.
She has a lady bug in her baby gym
With a mirror that is very dim.
She really likes to look at herself
And Raggedy Ann that’s on the shelf.
I think of her when I’m at school.
She’s so pretty, just like a jewel.
With Lucy Moosey I love to play
And with my sisters, every day.
